Student Helpers/Demonstrators

At BSD, we encourage our older students (7th grade and above) to be student helpers/demonstrators for pre-school and kinder level classes.  The younger students love their older helpers.  Our student helpers/demonstrators help the instructors keep the children organized in class, demonstrate tricks, run music, get parents if needed and hold hands on sad days.  Student helpers do not teach or spot tricks in acro class.  This is also a wonderful opportunity for our older students to work with children and share their love of dance.

Adult Classes

Come dance with us! Adult and teen (ages 16 and up) dance classes are being offered for all levels. If you’ve never taken a dance class, if you’ve spent most of your life at the barre, or if you land somewhere in between, our classes will energize you.

We need a minimum of 5 participants to start. Classes will be Tuesday or Thursday evenings, depending on your availability and dance level.  The adult session is $60 – it is one hour per week for 8 weeks.  Our drop in rate is $10 per class.  Adults students are exempt from the regular student registration fee.

Leotards and tights are NOT required for adult classes.  Please wear comfy clothes or workout wear.  Our goals are to appreciate the art of dance, get some physical activity and have fun!
